A small and occasionally strong thriller. It reminds me of an extended Twilight Zone episode.

Despite a wonderfully eerie atmosphere, this moody examination of guilt and mourning is too generic to scare and too predictable to surprise.

Chilling and unsettling, intimate yet monstrously vast in its cosmic horrors...

It’s now unfortunately trapped in its own thematic stasis, never able to break above the problems it’s created, almost exactly like its island’s doomed residents.
