Crows

the writer-director, Dorota Kedzierzawska, working with a gifted cinematographer (Arthur Reinhart), brings a light, fluid touch to Wrona's adventures (the beach scenes look especially magical).

A brief and powerful mood piece, with the concentration and purity of a fine short story.

The overwhelming impression is one of loneliness, sadness and suppressed fear: running at only 67 minutes, this is a strange, small, flawed gem.

This short and simple film is beautiful not only in its emotionally-honest story but in its cinematography.
