Touch

With her directorial debut, Szczepanowska crafts a confused picture of a character in search of her place in the world is left facing a dangerous outcome from her actions.

Touch takes time in revealing its dark heart, but once invested the viewer is rewarded with a clever and chilling psychodrama that proves lust can be killer.

Though not entirely fulfilling after an exceptional first act, Szczepanowska's film is irresistible for how it delves into desire and the need for something that truly belongs to you.

...an unusual, intense film that is easy to recommend for those keen to hear fresh cinematic voices...
