Parallel ultimately works, but just barely... keep your expectations earthbound.

Parallel is the multiverse movie for people who usually find them too hectic by half.

Parallel is a tense and disturbing sci-fi thriller that explores the different pathways of alternate realities. What begins as a family confronting an emotional crisis takes a frightening turn into an unexpected labyrinth of consequences.

While the plot of Parallel can get complicated if you think too deeply about it, the film shines in the performances that Deadwyler and Aldis and Edwin Hodge bring to this family.
