Like a garden-variety con man, “Trust No One: The Hunt for the Crypto King” relies on razzle-dazzle to deflect from an emptiness of insight.

I like that the documentary opts to zoom out and concentrate on an uncomfortable aspect of cryptocurrency towards the end.

This is an adeptly edited, fast-paced documentary, which exudes a kinetic intensity, mirroring the chatroom altercations of the main cast and the thrill of the investigation.
