Storyline

Sister Marina, a very unorthodox nun, is sent during the summer of 1994 to El Parral, a boarding school for boys threatened to be closed soon. Even though the kids welcome Marina with all kinds of pranks, they will, little by little, become something very close to the family they never had.

Inspired by a real-life story from the '90s... [this film] is exciting, full of laughter, profoundly Spanish, and mildly rooted in American cinema. [Full review in Spanish]

RTCinemanía (Spain)Jun 23, 2022

A film so gentle as it is funny. [Full review in Spanish]

... A 3.0 update of that simple, direct, timidly provocative [late 60's, early 70's] humor appropriate for all audiences, and very much in touch with our deepest feelings. [Full review in Spanish]

The very definition of good, old-fashioned fun, with Carmen Machi’s central performance as Sister Marina a joy to behold.
