While Fullmetal Alchemist: Final Alchemy delivers some strong moments, these points of light in the production are ultimately swallowed up by a plot that both rushes through so much and manages to be far too slow in succession.

“Fullmetal Alchemist: The Final Alchemy” is not exactly the movie that will make its viewers think, but the action and the SFX are enough to provide 2+ hours of entertainment, which is where the film’s true value lies.

Instead of action, the viewer is subjected to endless scenes of exposition -- backstory after backstory after backstory. This is followed by brief action and conflict, then it's back to explaining everything.

If you’re in for the Fullmetal Alchemist penny, you’re in for the pounding avalanche of this massive storyline condensed into something slightly less massive.
