Critics consensus

“For viewers inexplicably hungry to see stars wasted on a desperately unfunny comedy, Me Time might be the movie of the year.”

Me Time unfortunately fails to turn this smart idea for a comedy into anything worthwhile.

Me Time takes an interesting family dynamic and hides it under crass jokes and hackneyed stunts.

What the movie lacks in wit it makes up for with variety. There are masturbation jokes, porn jokes, excrement jokes, penis jokes, breast jokes, fart jokes, vomit jokes (visual as well as verbal).

Me Time is another algorithmically driven Netflix production that has been released, will end up in the top 10 (potentially the most-streamed movie of the weekend on the platform), and then be immediately forgotten the following week.
