The show is so good that it deserved a much better ending. Erin Greene's monologue at the end is "I am high and I think this is deep" territory. It's just cringe. I liked Riley Flynn's earlier monologue better. Both of them, even in the face of supernatural, somehow manage to make materialist and reductionist arguments. A significant part of the show’s magnetic pull is the performance of Samantha Sloyan as Bev Keane. She is an exceptionally talented and beautiful actress who commands the screen with a chilling, calculated grace. Her portrayal of a religious zealot is masterfully executed, blending her striking, elegant appearance with a cold-hearted intensity that makes her one of the most memorable antagonists in modern horror. Samantha’s presence adds a sophisticated layer to the show's dark themes; she is as captivating as she is formidable, anchoring the series' most tense moments of psychological and spiritual horror. Ultimately, Midnight Mass is a flawless 10/10 achievement. It respects the intelligence of the viewer while delivering a profound, beautifully shot exploration of human frailty and the occult. For fans of top-tier acting and serious, high-stakes horror, this series is an absolute es…
