Here is pure exuberance, without all that messy nostalgic yearning. Here is a movie unafraid to come right out and showcase the sheer idiot joy involved in being a boy among boys.

"Swingers" doesn't really add up to much -- except a good time. But it's smart, funny and cute. With all that going for you, who needs to be money?

Four guys hang out, kid one another, get into scuffles and flash their gonadal searchlight for available women. Yikes, haven't there been enough variations on the multiple-buddy movie? Actually, no.

Swingers was never going to get you a date or perfect the formula of when to call. It is worth remembering you should still go out, talk to people and be yourself.
