An ambitious narrative gamble lies at the heart of this French-language drama from the director Cédric Klapisch.

Much like the process of psychotherapy itself, patience is required for results while watching this modestly entertaining slow-burn Parisian romance from Cédric Klapisch, who pulls off a neat trick by bumping the meet-cute to the end of the film.

This romantic drama/comedy of two lonely people who live so close, but never quite meet is as simple and sweet as it is clever and sad.

Klapisch's rejoinder depicts the tragic irony staring down today's young people: the world is at our fingertips, but genuine connection always feels just out of reach.
