Pins and Needles

It’s a solid production, but the story could’ve been better. There are too many elements and decisions that are bound to annoy. This was certainly my experience.

This is one sharp, economical horror, great at sustaining tension and a genuine pleasure (?) to watch.

Pins & Needles is a tense, suspenseful horror-thriller that’s carried well by the powerful performance of Chelsea Clark. The film is likewise a smart, bloody take on the state of healthcare and class identity.

There are some good gore scenes and the villains are kinda funny. Over the top moments bring a layer of camp that the film should have leaned more into. It may want to be more, but it ends up being entertaining fluff.
