Borderlands

A junk-heap of a film set on a junk-heap of a planet, Borderlands joins the long list of dud computer game adaptations which are entirely derivative of earlier movies, comics, TV shows and toy packaging materials.

There's a lot of talent in this, but it's all in the service of a cacophonous crash-and-bang not-terribly-interesting CGI'd hyper violent movie.

A video game adaptation that completely misses the mark.

‘Borderlands’ is simply product, manufactured to cash in on a successful property without any understanding of what makes that property popular or why it should appeal to non-gamers.
