Their story is in the caring hands of director Ryan White and results in a beautiful tribute to a steadfast, caring love and to a talented woman whose poetry strikes chords in the soul.

Director Ryan White’s film is an emotional viewing experience that was completed before Gibson’s passing, its moving centrepiece the poet’s long-term loving relationship with fellow writer Megan Falley.

[Gibson's] assertively affirmative outlook doesn't really brook tears, and the filmmaker's warmth and humor, even in times of despair, gives the story a radiance that makes mundane moments feel precious, while allowing hopeful moments to raise goosebumps.

It’s not an easy watch. However, it is undoubtedly compelling and more than occasionally uplifting and hilarious.
