The lines of “Scarborn” are so solid that what’s between them won’t be missed, not by anyone looking for righteous history and heroic adventure.

This Polish historical drama is an odd duck of a feature but there’s definitely a cinematic flair to proceedings.

For international viewers, Scarborn feels like an extended footnote, ending just as the main action is about to get underway.

Overflowing with urgency ... When action erupts, it's chaotic ... so it's not always readily apparent who is winning, though the losers are the ones who lay dead at the end.
