Fashioned for the times, Rock Dog 3 has catchy tunes and sharp lectures about the complexity of being genuine... Nonetheless, it falls apart in the end by capriciously including adventure scenes that unnecessarily stretch the film.

Though the movie doesn't hit you over the head with the message, it's noticeable enough to spark a conversation with kids about the impact media can have on our emotions and behavior.
