I usually have a knee-jerk reaction that if a title ends in a number higher than two, it is basically a cash grab. But I confess that, as Taylor Swift was singing a song over the end credits... That "Toy Story 6" didn't sound all that unreasonable.

Rarely does the movie hit on any salient points that the series hasn’t already made, opting instead to repeat narrative patterns and jerk a few tears here and there.

Toy Story 5 has its moments of joy – and some great animation in the play sequences - but it’s an inconsequential entry that couldn’t possibly compare to the first and third films.

This is a film that seeks to serve both parents and children, underscoring the importance of human connection over meaningless scrolling or idle chatter.
