Overall, this is a documentary that will leave you feeling angry but inspired at the same time, angry that someone so young with so much to give can have their life so cruelly taken away, but inspired to make the absolute most of what life has to offer.

JessZilla is a warm documentary that wholeheartedly embraces the girl at its center – her grit, the ones who love her, and a passion that never wavered.

JessZilla is a fascinating look at what it takes to achieve one’s dreams. It is also a heartbreaking reveal of what happens when those dreams need to be given up. Jesselyn Silva is a champion in the ring and out of it.
