The film fully functions as an entertainment product that, yes, has several implausible moments, but whose dinosaurs (created with an unusually effective mix of CGI and practical effects) look fabulous. [Full review in Spanish]

It’s been a long time since dinosaur films have felt this frightening or tense.

On one level, The End of Oak Street is nothing more -- or less -- than a swift, satisfying exercise in fight-or-flight suspense entertainment. It’s an escapist adventure with enjoyably ropy special effects and a nasty visceral kick.

An excellent mix of fun and scares with Amblin sensibilities. End of Oak Street puts every Jurassic movie since the original to shame.
