un though it is to see Jackie Chan good-naturedly busting out the classic moves -- and very spry he is at 70 years old -- this really is a by-the-numbers piece of work.

The film is entertaining, it has funny moments, and it basically woks. It’s predictable but it’s not terrible.

Where Chan’s best films allow for wide-angle shots with minimal edits, this one keeps cutting away from the action for lackluster gags and shenanigans that took me completely out of the scene.

While it will not win any awards nor be your favorite Jackie Chan movie, if you’re a fan like me, you’ll leave with a smile on your face.
