Halfway successful. The first half of the film is much better than the messy back half, but Henry Cavill has great screen presence in an early role. The twist still doesn't make a lick of sense, though.

About as horrible as you'd expect a terrible script getting slapped with the "Hellraiser" title arbitrarily might be.

It is exhausted, the most going-through-the-motions exercise that one could possibly imagine.

Far removed from what the other films established and designed.
