Where Dragons Live

The film works because the subjects are innately sympathetic, somehow fragile and seemingly haunted by a debilitating and formative lack of something.

It makes you think about what we inherit from our families and the memories we hold onto. This is a powerful reminder of how stories connect us and how complicated family histories can often be.

It's a fascinating look at both Britain's distinct middle-class culture and a singular family dynamic.
