It's a corny TV movie made with so much sincerity and conviction by all involved that it becomes watchable, if rarely "good" by any stretch.

It’s easy on the eye, and indeed the brain, but this is nowhere near as sharply written or plotted as it should be to bring these characters to life.

While the melodrama has only just been taken off life support, “Reminders of Him” is a start. It’s the promise of something more. Something better. Something deserving of a memorable title.

Reminders of Him may be the best - and least problematic - Colleen Hoover book adaptation yet… unless crying in a theatre for two hours is a problem for you.
