Crises on the Comeback Trail: Hokkaido's Endangered Birds

Storyline

Hokkaido in Japan’s far north is a paradise for wild birds. Diseases and collisions with vehicles, power lines, and wind turbines are just some of the challenges. This documentary shows how veterinarians and researchers have developed initiatives to help the birds grow in number.
