"The Yeti" is some of the most fun you’ll have in horror this year, and deserves to be seen on the biggest screen possible to get the full effect of this throwback monster movie.

Even grading on a curve for inexperienced filmmakers, more money would not help this movie. The filmmakers need more experience in writing feature length stories and should also watch more movies.

Although the nostalgic visual aesthetic creates an atmospheric backdrop, this creature feature is exceedingly slow-paced without offering much suspense or surprise to fulfill its pulpy ambitions.

By the end, you’re mostly left cold and aggravated, like The Yeti himself.
