There’s no getting around the fact that “Tears” is a maudlin song and that, devoid of novelty, “Over 30 Years Later” feels fairly routine.

With the feature interview added, it offers a more complete package than trying to scare up old DVDs of Clapton’s original Unplugged performance, or digging for excerpts on YouTube.

Isn't a documentary about the album or special; it feels more like the kind of thing that would have been released on DVD in the early 2000s
