That this full-length film of 104 minutes lacks the charm those stories have in spades is a shame; it is the necessary compensatory element for the utter predictability of plot and storyline.

It’s the worst of all worlds -- trash minus any froth or fun, trash with pretensions.

Drawn Together has its irresistible charms, chief among them Ester Expósito, the young Spanish actor who could well be on the Penélope Cruz track to international stardom.

It is a solid C-grade movie made better by the lead actors understanding the kind of movie they’re in: one that should titillate the audience if it won’t actually satisfy them cinematically.
