A biting social commentary slasher franchise more perceptive in its critique of digital social media culture than anything else within the horror landscape right now

Kurtis David Harder sharpens the cutlery for his attack on social influencer culture, all but garroting the obscenely rich, tin-souled click baiters out there.

It is a more vicious, targeted film than the original, but it also has a stunning streak of truly dark humor that’s almost Coen-esque in its slapstick bloodshed.

A marked improvement over the already solid original, Influencers sees director Kurtis David Harder and his two lead actresses showcase a more confident, tongue-in-cheek thriller.
