This is a classic get-to-know-you debut special, and it’s fun not only to see how Hernandéz shines in the spotlight, but how expressive and emotional he gets displaying his love for his family and his culture.

It may be a lighthearted hour overall, but it's also more thoughtful and funnier than I expected.

the final product sounded exactly like those screaming goats from Thor: Love and Thunder.

Hernandez is still a green comic, and there’s room to tighten his material as he grows, but the fact that one hour in his company leaves you feeling as if you’ve been through some sort of assault course is going to make him hard to ignore.
