Blackout

Blackout is a well-done exposure of the human condition when even an uncontrollable predicament will not discourage an evil antagonistic challenge.

From its story, action, and thermonuclear stakes, Blackout has enough to make this an engaging indie thriller for a weekend movie-and-chill night.

While this attempt is more than serviceable, Blackout suffers from a lack of coherent stakes and a refusal to flesh out its characters beyond its urgent premise.

A really solid indie action thriller. The VFX leave a little to be desired at times, but I thought the performances were solid and the visuals were a lot better than many other indies.
