Treading Water

Emitting the unpleasant stench of over-affectation, "Treading Water" slaps together its particular peculiarities with such randomness, it's as if the film were conceived from blindly throwing disparate elements at the wall.

About as fun as letting your car drift into a highway divider.

Well-acted with a compelling concept, but shallow and less than the sum of its parts.

If dying is easy and comedy is hard, Treading Water proves again that whimsy is the hardest kind of comedy there is.
