The sequel is every bit as amusing as the original, though probably grislier.

Brian Yuzna keeps the pace fast, if sometimes at the expense of coherence.

The flick supplies many a darkly mirthful moment as it picks up steam on the way to a truly sicko finale. It operates simultaneously as a moral fable, medical satire, and over-the-top bad-taste orgy.

The second movie is at least 10 times more disgusting than the first, but manages to supply almost enough funny lines to assuage your nausea.
