Images from its final reel will still burn into your brain.

Noroi’s sense of realism may be unmatched in found footage, and the journey of its idealistic, headstrong protagonist makes for gripping viewing.

Noroi: The Curse is truly a disturbing and epic film.

*Noroi: The Curse* stands out with its pseudo-documentary approach, gradually building suspense through a well-structured investigation, natural performances, and an unsettling atmosphere that feels eerily authentic. While some unanswered questions, limited character development, and occasional lapses in character logic prevent it from being fully satisfying, the film's compelling mystery and slow-burning horror remain highly effective. Overall, it is a rewarding horror experience for viewers who enjoy atmospheric storytelling and psychological dread over conventional jump scares. BY ALUNAUWIE
