As a viewing (and listening) experience, Sacred is never less than hypnotic.

Abstract, yet moving... The film articulates a concept of universal humanity. No matter the religion or circumstances, we all have the same desires for peace and connection throughout life.

Rarely lingers on any subject for long and even more rarely inquires about the beliefs behind the ceremonies it observes.

A beautiful, often moving look at the unifying force of faith, Sacred focuses not on the differences between religions, but on how they're similar.
