This is both a tribute to the brave resilience of parents and children and a paean to a past age of honest, old-school investigative journalism.

It's an inspiring story, very well told by the directors of McCullin.

There is just one thing missing from this excellent documentary: an analysis of the psychological taboo factor - a factor that Distillers used to its advantage.

It is a documentary that will enthrall, enlighten, enrage and distress. Crafted with precision and consideration for its subject matter and filled with a dense web of information, it is a well deserved and fitting testament to pioneering journalism.
