RTIndependent (UK)Jul 15, 2019

Disappointingly, this hour-long show, recorded in Chicago, never quite gets around to life in Uganda itself, instead covering Handler's relationship with her gay housemate and fondness for dogs.

Carolyn L. Todd

RTEntertainment WeeklyJul 15, 2019

By the end of the hour and 10 minutes of consistently entertaining standup and a riotously funny finale, Handler has proven herself fabulously suited to the platform.

RTIGNJul 15, 2019

Raunchy, raw, and uncensored, Chelsea Handler's Netflix Original comedy special Uganda Be Kidding Me is as abrasive as it is charming.

RTThe Daily DotJul 15, 2019

This is especially true in her final segment where the space between setup and punchline seems interminable. In our business, we'd say she needs a good editor.
