Boundaries

The film's jarring and experimental shifts in tone reflect the untidy side of life that the three main characters find themselves in.

The subject could have provided a great vantage point for a critical satire, but Boundaries lacks the laughs and the sting for that.

Boundaries doesn't have anything new to add, but for those craving some political science and economics in their entertainment, this film is catnip. The star power of thinking-man goddess Emily VanCamp doesn't hurt.

Boundaries is undoubtedly a metaphor. The mileage of the metaphor may vary with each audience member, depending on their interest and knowledge of Canadian politics and environmental issues.
