Rescue Dogs

A shrill, yappy live-action comedy that proves considerably more annoying than adorable despite an accompanying charitable marketing campaign designed to draw attention to animal welfare causes.

Childish and silly, but perhaps it's the kind of silly that the youngest audience members will enjoy. The rest of us can consider instead the heart and goodwill meant by Rescue Dogs' production.

One wishes someone had rescued this woeful production before it totally went to the dogs.

Talking-dog comedy means well but lacks depth.
