Devgan is suitably restless and restrained. Aishwarya looks beautiful without the pancake. But her persona feels contrived right down to that bra strap popping from behind the sari pallu.

RAINCOAT is a soothing, melancholy and thoughtful film. An intimate chamber play with two strong actors and a bittersweet atmosphere.

Everything a serious, art-minded cinephile would savor: a moody, expertly-acted and -directed meditation on the realities of love, loneliness, and life.
