Yeti is as threadbare as its titular monster's costume and even at under seventy minutes it quickly wears out its welcome.

The plot (involving lots of "triangulating" of communication equipment) is incoherent, the dialogue is often hard to hear, the character motivations are nonsensical, and the yeti is more laughable than scary.

A 14-year-old with a camera and a backyard can do better than this.

Not quite sure on the rules of the world here in _Abominable_, but this was so fuckin' cute. There's a lot of silly sort of conveniences that did bother me some, but it also made me feel something, which I don't often get out of modern-day kids' movies. _Final rating:★★★ - I liked it. Would personally recommend you give it a go._
