RTThe Hollywood ReporterJan 5, 2018

A pedestrian sci-fi jaunt that brings nothing new to the table.

RTSouth China Morning PostJan 3, 2018

Dramatic tension can swiftly be undermined when you're watching invincible characters battle it out. In Motohiro's less accomplished hands, Ajin: Demi-Human just feels repetitive and unfocused.

RTThe Straits Times (Singapore)Oct 11, 2017

There are enough twists and turns to keep one engaged and the good news is that they feel organic to the fantasy world conjured up here.

Suspense fills every minute, making this movie one of the best Japanese manga-adapted action films I have ever watched.
