Failure

With so many important ideas woven into the narrative, viewers will find their own catharses, even if the film is very bleak.

Director Alex Kahaum definitely deserves another look and, of course, Ted Raimi is always going to be a welcome addition no matter where he is. As far as Failure! goes, though, neither of them do enough to warrant an earnest watch.

Failure! is a failed experiment that grates more than it excites.

It’s a gem of a role for Raimi, who delivers the smooth talk and captures the high flying businessman look perfectly but shows us the human being behind them.
