Pamela Pianezza

RTVarietyJun 7, 2017

A solemn take on rural life that intriguingly toys with thriller conventions.

Jordan Mintzer

RTThe Hollywood ReporterMay 22, 2017

There are a few intense moments, as well as stabs at humor that border on Coen Bros. territory, but generally speaking the film is a tad too pedestrian in terms of its execution.

Grant Watson

RTFiction MachineJun 6, 2019

It is immediately obvious from the film's first act that it cannot have a happy ending; the only question is just dreadful the ending is going to get.

Marshall Shaffer

RTVague VisagesApr 20, 2019

It's a gripping, tight ethical drama made even better by Charuel delving into how a conspiratorial internet factors into Pierre's decision-making process.
