The Limit of Sleeping Beauty masterfully blends reality, memory, and hallucination to portray Aki’s descent into schizophrenia and identity confusion, demanding full focus from viewers. Yuki Sakurai delivers a mesmerizing performance, embodying the emotional chaos and vulnerability of her character with striking authenticity. With its surreal visuals, artistic direction, and emotionally charged scenes, the film transcends psychological drama into an evocative cinematic experience.
