[Nick] Budabin doesn't ignore the threats on south-side streets, but his depiction of one admirable young man proves there's much more to the story.

This is a beautifully photographed, thoroughly engrossing, sobering but also inspirational piece of work.

Fortunately (and appropriately) the 78-minute Chi-Town compensates for its size by making every shot count.

It's not easy to make it in college basketball, let alone have a chance at playing for the NBA but Chi-Town is a documentary that sports fans will enjoy.
