Ghostbox Cowboy

A scary, dryly funny dissection of entrepreneurial absurdism bleeding into existential and metaphysical despair.

This original if sometimes befuddling vision blurs the line between fiction and documentary elements, conventional storytelling and improvisational collage, all to oft-bracing effect.

The movie is unique, and often off-putting, in ways that should be exciting to open-minded cinephiles.

Immersed in our shared dollar-store world of travel-sized toiletries, useless trinkets, and selfie sticks, Ghostbox Cowboy investigates American and Chinese capitalism by presenting two sides of the same bad penny.
