George Marshall directs Bob Hope and Lucille Ball to their fullest comic potential with laughs that never cease in the hysterical Fancy Pants.

The best bit is easily Hope’s “Three against a thousand” tall tale of derring-do.

Bob Hope manages to be amusing quite a bit of the time while masquerading as a member of the British nobility in the Wild West. The Paleface was funnier, but this one is pretty good.

Silly Bob Hope/Lucille Ball comedy with slapstick moments.
