I'm so used to seeing Jo Jung-Suk play the good guy ("Hospital Playlist," "Oh My Ghost") that it was fun to watch him chew up the scenery as a bad-boy rich guy who is brutal, immoral and nasty.

Hit-and-Run Squad spends far too much of its runtime trapped in overwrought drama with obnoxiously clichéd speeches about how you can't go evil to fight evil, or something.

Despite the motorsports setting and proliferation of high-octane vehicles, the film refuses to shift its procedural plot into anything approaching top gear.

If Hit-And-Run Squad was a 90-minute movie, it would have been great. Unfortunately, the South Korean action flick runs about 40 minutes longer.
