Critics consensus

“Joey King makes The Kissing Booth 2 better than it could have been, but this slapdash sequel will leave viewers puckering up for all the wrong reasons.”

While Noah and Elle's relationship feels less toxic in this film, which is slower and drags throughout its more than two-hour run, the pair still struggles to be honest with each other.

To The Kissing Booth 2's credit, it's not as aggressively problematic as its predecessor.

You can soak in the movie's basic premise and overacting just as long as you know this pool's shallow.

Can you explain to me why 'The Kissing Booth 2' is more than two hours long?
