Beyoncé crafted the masterpiece with black pride and the spirit of historically black colleges and universities.

Homecoming is not your standard concert film by any stretch.

At the glittering centre of it all is Beyoncé herself: master maker of her own modern myth; an uber-perfectionist capitalist surveying her multimedia empire.

Whether you consider yourself a fan of Beyoncé or not, after watching Beyoncé’s Homecoming, there’s no denying her dedication to her craft while simultaneously uplifting and celebrating Black culture.
